The short version
Nikitti Boutique is reader-supported. When you click certain links on this site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price you would pay anyway. The commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
The longer version
We participate in affiliate programs, including retail affiliate networks. This means that when we link to a product — for example, a pair of boots we recommend — that link may contain a tracking code. If you buy within the tracking window, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale.
What this does not affect
- Our picks. We choose what to feature before we check whether a link is monetizable. If a great product has no affiliate program, we still include it.
- Our opinions. We say when something is overpriced, poorly made, or not worth it. A commission never buys a better review.
- Your price. Affiliate links do not raise prices. In fact, we often point out when waiting for a sale will save you more.
What this does affect
- It pays for hosting, research time, and the products we buy to test.
- It lets us keep the site free and ad-light.
Advertising and sponsorships
If we ever publish a sponsored post or accept advertising, it will be clearly labeled as such at the top of the page. We do not sell editorial rankings, and we do not accept payment to remove negative information.
